Taken to the cleaners again!
This could be the most important read you will ever do to improve for your handicapping future.
These are my personal opinions based on my observations over many years.
You may or course agree or disagree.
Like most of you in my beginning years as a handicappers, I have purchased many systems and selections that were not worth a nickel. A lot of these were just flat out scams.
Let's take a look at what is really out there.
Keep in mind that you are looking for winners and to try to make a profit nothing more nothing less, right!

Pretty pictures everywhere
Many websites are just loaded with pictures and fancy flashing lights. Will these really make you a better handicapper or do you think many someone has spent thousands on web site creation to strictly sell you a product by drawing you in with flash and glitter?

Wild Claims
Make $1000 a day! I made $200,000 in one week using the Never lose System! Guaranteed to Win!
They are out there by the thousands. The time tested statement remains
"If it looks too good to be true, it is."Incredible percentages and winning results can be found everywhere.
Where did they come from?

R.O.I. Does it matter
250% r.o.i. Wow! R.O.I. is the most over rated number you will find, yet it is normally one of the first things anamateur handicapper will look for.The first question is, r.o.i. based on what? 5 races, 50 races, 200 races, it doesn't really matter. The key to winning my friends is to show a profit over a long period of time with as few losing streaks as possible. It doesn't matter whether you make 20% or 3%. The key it to make a profit.
You can make just as much money regardless or the r.o.i. if you are making a profit with a lower r.o.i. you just need bet more to make the same amount of money as a higher r.o.i.
Most of these r.o.i. claims are based on very short periods of time of small samplings of races.
Watch out for that r.o.i. number. It really dosen't tell you anything. Ask where it came from, that's the real answer to whether it has any meaning.

Wonderful Testimonials
Through the years I have received several hundred positive email and phone praises.
Unfortunately I cannot post these on my web site. The internet as you know is wide open for fraud and deception. If a man can disguise himself as a young boy to lure girls into his trap, what makes you think that a testimonial with initials and a first name or city name after it is really legitimate. A real testimonial would require a name, an email address, and a telephone number at least to verify it was legit. Nobody in their right mind would post this personal info on a website just to give a testimonial. Even at that, it could still be a friend or hired employee of the company. So since there is truly no way to prove these I will not put them on the H>L>C>website.

Lots of factors and angles
Many system pushers have a ton of factors or angles to throw at you. The game behind that is that one of those many will have the winner somewhere. That way they can post the winner, and you if you didn't have it - well that's your fault for not picking the right factor out of the many offered!

Wonderful why descriptions
You purchase selections to get the winners for the races, don't you?
Why then is it necessary to get a long description of what the individual behind the system thinks is going to happen in the race or why the preditions were made. One thing is for sure you will definitely paymore for these selections. You pay for that description, which is truly not doing anything for you chances to win. If you like to read, go for it. Myself I would want to pay for who will win, and how do I wager on it?

How about another book
Everybody writes a book today. In my opinion the books being written on handicapping over the last 20 years are no more than information that has already been written about many times. Oh they may and a little twist here or there but I see nothing new. Handicapping system books tend to be 100 to 200 pages long out of which the actual system encompasses about 1 to 3 pages of the entire book. The other end is a system so complicated that no one can understand it. Why do the same handicappers keep writing new book and new systems? The first system said it was a winner, why do you need to write another?

The big names
Lots of big name handicappers are out there. Why are they big names? In almost every case they are backed by big companies who invest thousands of dollars to advertise they names and selections. Today advertising can sell anything. Watch any t.v. lately! The more advertising the more it sells. Most big names are one shot wonders that made their fame from a single big hit. (note I said most not all). This is not new news it has been like this in all commercial fields forever. It is more so today because the information explosion is here.

Can I talk to the man
Ever try to contact the person you are actually purchasing your product from? In most cases there is no real name. Many are cute little nick names. You know most of them well. Good luck talking to them ever. They keep well hidden for a good reason. Here's something you should try before you purchase any more selections or systems. Call the number if their is one (LOL). Ask one question. What is your R.O.I. and what is it based on? This simple procedure will save you a ton of wasted money invested in useless products.

If you look around the internet you will see many who have and continue to copy the way we list our system results and our terminology, but none can copy our actual results. They use computer program results, which for the basics of the game are ok. We use a program and then do manual adjustments and make human decisions, which can only be achieved with years of experience. We also produce higher prices overall.
See for yourself. Got a question? Give me a call toll free 1-866-655-0118 anytime between 8:00 a.m.  and 8:00 p.m. e.s.t. 7-days a week. You'll talk to me, no one else. Try talking to the their selection producer.(lol)

Let's hear your story
Do you have a story of being taken by the scam artists out there? Send us an email(trackman88@earthlink.net) with your story or give me a call between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. e.s.t. 1-866-655-0118. I would like to post some of these stories on the website. I won't post a companies name or a system name. I won't post a name, initials or anything from the person who writes or calls. I will just post the procedure that was used and how it worked or didn't work. I am not trying to attack anyone with these stories, just give a general synopsis of the situation to look out for why buying selections. I'm sure it would be a great help to others, especially new handicappers who have yet to go down that nasty road that most of us have in our quest to be a better handicapper.
Thanks for reading.
Hopefully this letter will give you some food for thought and save you a few bucks down the road.
Best of luck in your handicapping quest.
